"Capturing Beautiful Moments in the Lives of Horses" is the theme of Karen Brenner's luminous, realistic paintings of horses.

Equine Artist Biography:

Karen Brenner specializes in "Capturing Beautiful Moments in the Lives of Horses" with her realistic oil paintings. Using many, many layers of translucent oils, she creates intimate compositions with vibrant colors.

She enjoys traveling and is available for commission work.

Traveling to horse farms and equine events to photograph horses of every breed, Karen loves spending time with horses and horse lovers. She uses the photos she takes as reference material for her paintings, but personally spending time with each horse and talking with their owners is what enables Karen to portray the each horse's personality in her work.

Karen is included in Pony Boy's book, Of Women and Horses--More Expressions of the Magical Bond. Her work has also been pictured in Dressage Today, Equine Vision Magazine and on the covers of Horseman's Corral and Horse Lover's Gifts and Chamisa Ridge's catalogs.

As a member of the Ohio Horsemen's Council, Karen loves trail riding with her three quarter horses and schooling her young Andalusian mare. All her horses have their own special tricks to entertain visitors! She lives in Wooster, Ohio.
