KIM RATIGAN: Paintings and Portraits Specializing in Horses, Dogs and Cats

Focusing on the special "family" animals of horses, dogs and cats, she creates realistic and emotional portraits in watercolours and coloured pencil. Her portraiture is very popular and her commissions can be found in the homes of clients in the US and Canada.

For interested clients, Kim offers an outline of her portraiture procedure, current rates and a full gallery of past works on her website. In addition to producing an exceptional piece of art, Kim also involves clients in the creative aspect of a portrait by offering each client the opportunity to watch their painting develop through privately viewed web pages.

Occasionally Kim has time to produce some non-portraiture art, which is offered for sale or may be submitted to Juried Art Shows. Kim has had pieces previously accepted by the American Academy of Equine Art, the International Exhibition of Animals in Art (Louisiana State University, School of Veterinary Medicine) and the Canadian Association of Equine Artists (now The Equine Art Guild).
