Equine Artist Biography:

I grew up on a ranch in Texas where I fell in love with animals and the outdoors. As a young girl I did pencil sketches of our horses around the ranch and I've never lost the love of involving the horse in my art. Today, I specialize in commissioned works of equine portraits to competitive action profiles.

I strive to capture the excitement and emotion of the subject I am depicting on canvas. My paintings include detail and demonstrate the character and the integrity of the subject matter.

I invite the participation of the client in identifying those equine traits they value most in their animals.

My paintings have won awards and honors. I am an Associate Member of Women Artists of the West and a member of the Equine Art Guild.
