Catherine McCall of www.MoonrockHorses.com, placed her Cremello stallion Raleighs Full Moon in the PonyCity.com stallion listings and this is one of the photos that was submitted for advertising.
The light glowing through his tail and the balance and harmony between the horse and rider really sparked our interest in this photo. Once hearing our enthusiasm for this image, Catherine gave the go ahead on doing a complete restoration.
The end result is a combination of two photographs and many hours in Photoshop. The original photo of Moon and a photo of two Belgian Ardennes foals under majestic grand daddy oak trees were used. The soft beams of light and the early morning mist were created in Photoshop. Specific detail was given to the placement of the shadow, which was also created digitally.
This one image gained more interest in Catherine’s breeding program than ever before. It was used in national and international magazine ad campaigns, online advertising and printed promotional materials. Since completing this photo restoration, PonyCity now handles all web design and print advertising for Moonrock Horses and PonyCity plans to help Moonrock achieve their best breeding season ever!
