Fence Removal and Color Correction
This gorgeous Friesian x mare struck an incredible pose for the camera and if it wasn't for this unpainted, cracked and warped fence right behind her, the photo would have been wall art. The owner of this breathtaking black and white wanted just that. a large, 24" x 24" photo, printed on canvas to frame and hang on her wall. The trick to this photo was matching up the leaves, shadows and grass so there would be no noticeable lines or imperfections when this was blown up to a giant size.
This turned out a little planer than our typical work, which actually allowed the horse to really pop out, especially when in the large scale format. Special attention was given to the color, since this particular horse was slightly bleached from the Florida sun. The reds were darkened in the body and the tail, and a few lines were reduced in the neck. The eye was another important detail of this photo, and you will notice the difference in sharpness and depth when flipping between the
before and after.
