Advanced Photo Retouching Combined with Background Replacement
This is another one of those images that look simple until paying close attention to the detail.
At a glance, you will notice that all of the unsightly objects in the background have been removed. It’s not until paying close attention that you see the “no-climb” wire fence, in between the wood four-board fence is still intact and perfectly aligned, even when the jump on the right and barrel on the left are out of the picture.
We also want to point out the distant fence that is seen between the top two fence boards on the right, was added back into the left hand side of the photo to make sure the final image appeared balanced and symmetrical.The large yellow building in the far background was removed entirely, without loosing the natural shape or
compromising the integrity of the large tree that became a focal point in the final product. No additional photos were used to replace the building. The clumps of trees on the right hand side of the original photo were used to draw in the rest of the image once the building was removed.
Slight depth-of-field was also incorporated into this image by slightly reducing the sharpness of everything but the horse, rider and grass.
