Halter Removal

Removing a halter can be one of the most difficult and time consuming projects to work on and halters can only be removed in about 10% of the photos people send in. The reason is most halters cover up the musculature in the horses' face, nose and jaw. Even thin rope halters can be difficult to remove.

In this photo the halter was able to be removed due to how low it was hanging on the horses head and the amount of detail we were able to work with in the high resolution original.

Several distractions were also removed, such as, the water tower in the upper left, the branch at the left of the tree and several small superficial blemishes on the horses’ nose and chest.
