Prissy has been professionally trained to ride western & neck rein & ride english & direct rein, she moves off your seat & leg pressure, bends nicely, changes leads, has a very smooth trot, will pick up correct lead at the canter with a simple shift of weight in your seat & a little leg pressure. She would excel in western pleasure or dressage with more training. She currently gets ridden once per week at a walk/ trot only, & needs a week or two of a refresher course. She is a good size horse for an intermediate rider. She rides very well in the arena with & without other horses around. She has been turned out with mares & geldings, & is dominant over the gelding but submissive under the mares, she is a fairly easy horse to get along with. She's an easy keeper when turned out on grass pasture, currently on 11 acres of 20hr turnout with a flake of coastal hay & a half a pound of grain 2x per day. Bathes very nicely, will let you sponge her face, stands for the farrier, needs to be twitched for the vaccines. She has regular hoof trimming every 6 weeks, dental yearly, vaccinations 2x per year, deworming every 8 weeeks, & negative coggins yearly. Records are available & vet checks welcome at the buyers cost & choice of the buyers vet. She would need a home with regular riding weekly, otherwise she gets "pasture sour".
